GENERAL INFO
The HLT Cage Welding System is a semi-automatic or fully automatic cage welding machine for the production of reinforcement cage for precast concrete products, including: concrete pipe, manhole, circular or rectangular pile,…and other products.
Thanks to the high level of automation, the machine can be operated by only 1 operator.
OPERATION
In standard version of the HLT Cage Welding System, which is semi-automatically operated, the longitudinal wire feeding is done manually with steel wire cut to the exact length, while the winding wire is fed automatically by a wire decoiler.
The longitudinal wire drawing carriage is driven by a gear motor with inverter control. The motor power is transferred to the longitudinal wire drawing carriage by a gear and a chain drive. Due to the infinitely variable speed of the motor, spacing’s of the winding wire can be adjusted from 30 to 200mm.
Through the translational shifting of the expanding shaft, the sets of chain and rollers move synchronously along the spokes of the main wheel, thus forming the bell socket of the cage.
OPTIONAL FEATURES
The machine can be supplied with optional features or equipments to facilitate the operation. These include:
- Automatic straightening and cutting device for longitudinal wire
- Automatic feeding unit for longitudinal wire
- Automatic winding wire cutter
- Automatic cage removal carriage
- 3-phase welding
PRODUCT DIMENSION
The biggest HLT Cage Welding System can make circular cages from ø340 mm up to ø3600 mm with no limit to the length of the reinforcement cage.
The machine can also be tailored to meet customer’s requirements on product dimensions.
